I cleaned up camp and headed out during a break in rain. Weather man predicted occasional light rain with heavy rain in the afternoon. Maybe I could make the 40 mile trip to Santa Cruz. It took me about an hour to go 5 miles to Pescadero state beach. It got windier and rained harder. I turned around and went back to half moon bay. I got a hotel room took a hot shower.
