This ride, our goal was originally the same GMR route, but leave earlier and keep going untill we hit snow/Baldy Village. The rains the days before had caused a mudslide on GMR, so we took Highway 39 through the mountains towards Crystal Lake. Crystal Lake was closed too, but we ventured past the gate a bit. Mmmmmm Plan was to be ready to ride about 9 or 10...plans change. Views... There is a river back there...somewhere Tired...We just went a mile down a dirt road to get to the river. Break time!
